What kind of appointments are available?

All initial appointments are required to be in office. Following initial assessment, telehealth appointments may be scheduled upon request. 

 

What insurances does Maegan accept? 

Maegan is currently accepting individuals who carry the following insurances: 

  • CDPHP (Commercial Plans only)

  • Blue Shield of Northeastern New York 

  • Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield New York 

  • United Health Care 

  • Oxford

  • Aetna

  • Cigna

  • Out of Network/Self Pay 

 

What is Maegan’s Out of Network Policy?

Current Out of Network Rates for initial appointments: $300 & Follow up Appointment: $150- $250

A superbill can be provided on request which may be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company to see what reimbursement you may qualify for. Reimbursement is not guaranteed by Maegan Majewski Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PLLC. 

 

What is the No Surprises Act?

Effective January 1st, 2022, our office started to integrate the No Surprises Act which protects consumers from "surprise" medical bills. Our office takes every effort to provide estimated costs based upon services rendered while also providing transparency with in network vs. out of network providers. Please see below for the more in depth resources on the no surprise act. 

 

What payment methods are accepted?

Credit/debit cards are accepted. All payments are fulfilled at time of appointment. All patients are required to keep a credit card on file. 

 

 

How can I request an appointment?

All appointment requests can be made clicking the “Get Started” button on the appointment request page.

 

I’ve requested an appointment. What’s next?

Please allow up to 3 business days after requesting an initial appointment for your request to be reviewed. After your initial appointment is scheduled, an invitation will be sent to the email provided with instructions on how to create your patient portal. You will also be sent initial intake forms which will need to be completed no later than 48 hours PRIOR to your appointment.
